Hello Caliber. While I understand that you might be prioritizing in helping the community to create new trainers, any thoughts on my previous suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
You've got someone who has tested the trainer, pin-pointed the issue, suggested feedback to improve the product, and even provided convenient save files through the gameplay to acquire.
Here are my thoughts, and yes I used your saves and there is no good work around from BREAKING SCRIPTS as I just said.
1 save often
2 best to not use damage options unless game has mechanic of a lot of killing of mobs that are unimportant or uninteresting to the game.
I DO appreciate the saves. It helps me to determine what is going on, and if there is some sort of fix from my end. The trainer is working as intended. The trainer working as intended causes the scripts to break in a way that isn't intended by the game designers so the "logic" of the game breaks.
You will have to contact the developers to tell them to fix their logic to take into account trainers that allow things they didn't intend. That probably won't go over well either, but it's the only fix

Hello I'm having some trouble with this trainer. It kept crashing when I turned on the trainer but eventually saw you need a file for the trainer to work. I put the file in the game directory and ignored the others but now the game crashes as soon as I open it. I know it's not the trainer itself because it's not on during the crash. I can only assume I'm doing something wrong so if anyone can help me out it'd be appreciated.
turn off overlay in aurora. It's probably been posted here already as a solution, but that's typically the answer to ANY game where activating the trainer immediately kills the game.
The trainer does not work. It originally crashes the game upon activation. However, after patching with RE Framework, the trainer successfully activates. Yet, the trainer options do not work.
Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Trainer is up to date and working as intended. From the trainer instructions:
This game has anticheats, scanners, and all sorts of crashing issue. To use the trainer without these issues, there is a 3rd party fix that will allow the trainer to be used and to fix the graphics and anticheats crashes.
Go here:
github.com/praydog/REFramework-nightly/releases/download/latest/RE4.zip
download that .zip.
Unzip the .zip and take the file:
dinput8.dll
and place it into your game directory, usually:
C:\Steam\steamapps\common\RESIDENT EVIL 4 BIOHAZARD RE4
You won't need the other files, unless you want to try the game in VR mode.
Run the game and you will see that an overlay for VR is present. You can close it using the hotkey it tells you once it has finished setting up.
You can then activate the trainer, and hopefully all will go without crashes.
Credits and thanks to PRAYDOG for his work on this title for VR and to allow mods. If there has been a new patch it may take some time for PRAYDOG to update the .dll that allows mods. Give him some time to update it.
