can you still get archivments with this trainer since you have to get a 3 party download. ? sorry if this have been addressed before i could not see it any where if it has

I got 1, but it seemed to skip others. So i don't know.

I ran into a new problem tonight for me, I was using the trainer yesterday with no issues but got past the first level and about 5-10 minutes into the second after you meet up with the shop and get to a part where you meet your first chainsaw enemy near a well - and it keeps crashing, I can pay for a couple of minutes and it just crashes no matter what I try. i tried replacing the .dll file, running as admin, ensuring my antivirus is off, launching the trainer later, launching only 1 hack at a time, but no matter what I try it seems to keep crashing after about 1 - 2 minutes. Is anyone else running into this issue or have any suggestions for going forward from here? if not I'll play without it but I thought id ask anyway. Cheers!

My resident evil 4 trainer was working fine for quite awhile, i'd say almost a little after the game came out. It is on the Steam platform. I have disabled all antivirus, have no antivirus or antimalware in browser, went thru list just to be sure. I even turned chrome off all together. All other trainers are working fine, resident evil 2 trainer working fine, it's just this one game. I have reinstalled it, reinstalled it to a different directory, even another drive. But right now it's back on my OS drive. I even tried using older versions of the trainer (of course I then upgraded back), and then reinstalled the game and aurora again just incase there may be a problem with that. I have the latest drivers from nvidia, have reinstalled aurora several times as well.

This is a game I REALLY was looking forward to playing several times, and it was working just fine. Now it just says "trainer activated" then the game immediately freezes, gives me a crash report from capcom, and a windows app comes up I also get a window from system information which is weird, and a very wide green bar just goes all the way to the end, says something like reading system information, that's all it says and I can see the app name and logo , its the regular windows system information logo, and I have to keep alt tabbing or win+tab just to see it because resident evil gets stuck after it says trainer activated then crashes.

It plays just fine without the trainer, on both drives i've installed it to. So I know it can't be the game, and all my steam games work fine, and the trainer works with them (the ones ive tried which is most of them).

I'm just at my wits end because I'll be honest, I have had medical problems and have bad hand/eye coordination, I can only play about 1/3 as well as I used to before the accident. So I know I won't be able to experience the game without a trainer. If you know of any solution I would be over the moon! Thank you for your time, and CH has been a life saver for me, if not for you guys, I wouldn't be playing many games if any. So thank you so much! Have a great weekend! Patrick aka pattamus

[Deleted] I never noticed the DLL file note in the trainer. That's on me.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

While waiting for an update to be released, you can use our free CoSMOS Gamehacking Tool to easily hack the game yourself. We have tons of video tutorials available for even those with no prior experience with memory scanners or gamehacking tools.

Hey guys, just thought i'd let you know I *Finally* got it working. And it was the weirdest way too..
What happened was I had put steam into big picture mode, then realized I didn't wan't that, so I simply changed it back to how it was, and I thought what the hey, i'll give the trainer a shot incase it did anything to steam.

Well, sure enough, It says Trainer activated about 4 times, but it works again! And that's all I care about. I also got a little bar in the top right which showed the trainer settings, but never hit any buttons to get it. But that is fine because I can just turn that off just by exiting the window. Then all my text got really small but not the games or library, just like the text at the top, and when installing a game makes it very hard to see, but I just fixed that with one of the options in settings. No big deal at all.

Just wanted to update everyone, if anyone has this same issue, it's very strange but that is how I got mine back to normal and everything working great. I would like to thank you for your help anyway, or at least your willingness to help for those who were going to. I'm so happy I can play RE4 again and I was very early in the game, so I will be able to take my time with it, and not worry about being about getting stuck. For those having the d3d error with the dinput8.dll file, does it work if you put the file in the folder after you start the game?
