Game which shows the issue: Plague tale requiem
I favorited the trainer (chose the option to remember specific trainer version) but it still asks me to choose platform each time. Can you make Aurora remember it?

Favorited means it just picks the trainer version for you. To remember the platform you'd have to check the "Remember my choice" on platform selection. This selection takes place when you open the GAME page, for example via search or on 'Trainers' page. But only when there are trainers for different distributions. For this game, each trainer supports the same distributions so the selection is skipped.

The only workaround is to open the global settings file of Aurora, jump to "TrainerListDistributionChoice" entries and add a manual entry:

For Steam:
"77746": 1,
For gamepass:
"77746": 512,
