Well, something like 90 percent or more of the game has you doing stuff at the abbey, and these are things I would rather not be doing. I feel like I am being forced by the game to do boring mundane things just so can do better in combat.

Press “esc” during the abby portion of the game and it’s 90% combat 😉

Then you will miss on maxing out your heroes , because you won't be able to build their Friendship meters. 😐

Also, I don't like games that have mandatory crafting. If I want to craft something I can do that when I play Star wars The old Republic.

I'll drink to that. I think I will take this game off my X-Mas list.

I put this bit of rambling here as it's nothing trainer related. I enjoyed all the Abby missions which helped build the story but the combat i have to say didn't really go well for me. It just felt like playing pokemon game,throw this and that card out. Just felt strange to me. I've only played the main game and never downloaded any DLC and i won't either.
The story line behind the game is good and maybe a follow up game could be on the (cards) but i hope they change the machanics so it's more inline with combat style.
