Ok I did some testing, becuase I know right clicking on the steam taskbar icon and playing a game loads said game differently than hitting play from within the steam UI. This is because I have some games that screw up on the right click from the icon launch.
Anyway tested and found the hot keys do not work, and made sure they were not disabled for the trainer...
1) Tried Aurora running, not in admin mode + launched from inside Steam UI = Got the cheat error
2) Tried with Aurora running the trainer, not in admin mode + instide steam = no cheat error, got this instead when I tried to activate by Alt+Tab to manually activate:
LoginId:a7070de246157694c5000981204bd6ec
EpicAccountId:
Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION 0x00007ff9ade70fde
CheatHappensOverlay_x64
MidnightSuns_Win64_Shipping
3) Exited Aurora, and restarted the trainer not in admin mode + launched from right click = no cheat error, was able to alt+tab and activate the trainer and cheats. F1 and all other hot keys not working
3) Tried with Aurora running the trainer, not in admin mode + launched from Aurura = no error, was able to alt+tab to activate and activate cheats same way.F1 and all other hot keys not working
4) Tried with Aurora running the trainer in admin mode + launched from Aurura = no error, was able to alt+tab to activate and activate cheats same way. F1 and all other hot keys not working
Also if I close the trainer via hitting the X in Aurora before existing the game I get a different Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION error.
No matter what you should always be running both Aurora and game as admin, secondly what do you mean with the hot keys not working? Does the teleport and player speed cheats work?
After successful activation of the trainer have you tried resources control method 1? With activating of neither resources control cheats enabling resource cheats is impossible.
Also have you tried running the game without the 2k launcher?
And lastly don’t close the trainer before the game, shutting down the game comes first in the sequence.

I was able to run Aurora today in conjuction with Midnight Suns without issue, anyone else having the same experience?
The game started normally with Aurora running and the cheats worked fine.
So, they removed the anti-cheats? Can someone please clarify as this back and forth is giving me whiplash.
My personal experience is that on three different starts of the game and Aurora the anti-cheat feature didnt kick in. One isnt a good sample obviously.
Have you followed the instructions properly?
How about disabling 2k launcher?
We have lifted the ON HOLD status as the current trainer is working fine, tested by 10 internal users along with many members.
I am still getting the exploitation error and the game won't run. I've disabled my antivirus, put Steam into offline mode and started the trainer in Admin mode and it still gives me the error. What is everyone else doing to get around that? I am playing it on steam.😒
Did you follow the instruction correctly?
step 4 is the most important one:
Very Important:
1.Don't run cosmos or any other cheat program as well anything that says trainer or cheat while using this trainer.
2.Temporarily disable your anti virus and any type of security program on your system if you run into issues.
3.Run both game and Aurora as admin.
4.Run Aurora first then open the trainer and finally launch the game.

I did all that except running the game as admin. I don't get the option to run as admin. I am on Windows 11. If there is a way to run the game as admin I didn't see it, but an update, I am able to run the game but it freezes after a cutscene. I have assumed that is because the game has detected my edited materials from the trainer?

Hot Keys = F1 to activate, and every key to activate a cheat. Basically the trainer is not responding to keyboard commands at all. I can alt + tab to get to it and activate it and various cheats that way. The phone app also works, and I did make sure "Disable All Hot Keys" was not enabled.
I found I did not need to run the game or Aurora as admin, so long as I started the game via Aurora or right clicking on the steam icon. In both cases I could get the cheats working. Also I tested running both with admin privileges, and nothing changed even my hot key problem. Now I do run my own domain, and have a bunch of Group Polices that makes sure that users get admin rights, so the game and the trainer may be piggybacking on those GPs, but I have not checked what user both run under to audit their rights.
Next I have not disabled the 2k launcher, as I have never had issues with the game and it. My issues only started when they rolled out the Deadpool DLC, and the game has always functioned fine...they just broke me cheating my way to having a fully decorated room and the like.
P.S. I turned the trainer off to test what broke, and because on several other unity games I have to turn the trainer off before I exit the game. The whole point of me trying so much stuff was to see what worked.
