I think the retirement reason is due to Denuvo, hopefully the devs get rid of it soon, as a single player game should not have it. 🙁

since denuvo is only used to stop piracy of games, and you generally can't pirate multiplayer games, your reason that it shouldn't have denuvo because it's a single player game makes no sense.

We had several trainers we could not make recently. This may be one of them. If not, we will likely look at it again.
