Seems to be working now looks like it was conflicting with one of my mods.
Just tested this myself. Looks like if you have Unity Mod Manager installed on the game at all, the trainer can't attach to it. I doubt the folks here will update the trainer for that and I don't blame them, but man... That's a hard choice to make.

If you activate the trainer before it gets to the menu screen it seems to work.
Huh... Neat. Too bad the UMM mods I wanted to try are now broken messes after the update. But it's good to know about this trick!
On a trainer related note, it still can't seem to grab opinion values from countries. Not a huge deal as I have other ways around that, but worth pointing out.

Is anyone else having a problem where, with the latest trainer, when you update the stats of your councilors it shows the changes as a red number but not the actual number?
set stats to 24 and then give xp and then add the last point in game.
As a clarification, requesting an update to a beta version of a game is probably not a good idea is it? Sadly the current version doesn't work, but I understand that it could be tedious to update to a beta version that may or may not last very long.
Trainer is active so request away. If trainer maker decides they update to often they put it on hold for a time.
Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.
New patch today. I have tested all options and Edits, except speed (I never use that) and all work except Option 1 'Fast Complete Research'. As that does not bother me at all, as I only ever used it once, I don't believe there is any need for an update.

Thanks for testing the trainer, that helps narrow down a bit what may have broken during the game patch.
I do suggest, even when you not using the option, to post an file update request. That way we can at least the 3 needed for an update since the trainer needs it.
