when i activate game speed it pauzes the game engine and then the game crashes i can not set it faster or slower game time speed as the slider does nothing. any idea how this is possible they have updated the game this week could this be the issue ? have not used it before so i dont know.

You have hit the nail on the head. Updates tend to change things around that our trainer doesn't like. So this is most likely the reason for it not working anymore for you.
If you be so kind to put this in an update request, if not done already, so that we can get it looked at.
Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.
