Attempts with another trainer that showed the value of friendship were not successful. The value of friendship and levels could be modified, but they did not stick after resetting the game, nor even allow you to start a quest.
What this did show me is that the value for the bugged characters for their friend XP was stuck at 3000018947.
Plugging that number into CoSMOS, I can see that the level does change for an effected character, but nothing else registers (Still says I need to be lvl 10 to start the quest, when its showing them as 10, etc.). So more than likely this isn't the value that has to be edited to get the game to recognize the level alteration.
Hope this helps in some way, though getting concerned that undoing this might not be possible.
I'm afraid modifying the friendship level isn't as simple as it's looks like,when the friendship value goes beyond a certain amount then the in game function that performs the friendship changes isn't called anymore therefore making it impossible to revert back to normal,to revert it to where it was the in game function has to be called again with the proper parameters.
i'm giving my best to create a reset option but i'll need a save game with this bug so i could perform more thorough analysis.

I can provide a save game if you need one. Kristoff in mine is bugged. Game shows him as level 10 however, when interacting with him it says I need to increase him to level 2 to do more interactions. Slightly different than the going to 0 bug but still related I feel.

Everything in there.
Was playing yesterday and tried to convert some of the dreamlight currency to the pixar event one and got transaction errors similar to what existed in the first version of the trainer. Has anyone else seen this while using the trainer? This was for the Gamepass version, btw.

Pretty sure CH has always been clear about their trainers not being used for online or multiplayer. Moonstone is only used online and I believe is server-sided, so the amount you see in-game is only what you see, thus the transaction failure.
I used the Max Friendship on Mickey. It did max to 10, but I forgot to disable the option so when I did something else that added Friendship, it set Mickey's Friendship to 0 which now doesn't change even with additional Friendship actions. I can't progress on the Mickey Track due to this and Mickey is a progression requirement. I tried running the game without trainer, it's still stuck at 0.
I did test using Max friendship to 10, turning off the option and doing more friendship actions and it did not reset to the character to 0. So, it seems if this is enabled after Friendship is 10, that's when the 0 setting occurrs.
If there is any way to fix this so I don't have to start another playthrough, that would be great. Already on 2nd play thru due to the Donald Duck house bug ;-)
