1 unplug internet with steam in offline mode
2 run the game
3 allows you to play against bots offline

If not, then this game is a no go

dang.just checked, can boot the game but can't get past the "Enter the Multiverse" screen without an internet connection. so trainer not possible .

Big yes to Question 3.

As for question 1 it does unfortunately require an online connection at all times but want to remind that there are a few games here, similar situation, that have trainers such Outriders, Rainbow Six Extraction, Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 to name a few examples. Real complications will be getting around the anti-cheat and how much of the game is server sided which sadly is the case with free-to-play games.

Try using CoSMOS to change some variables and see if they "stick". Then let us know.

imagine spending 8 hours "getting around the anti cheat" only to discover "playing with bots" still uses server..

My apologies I didn't see the "offline" part of the question about playing against bots (gotta love having a disability).

Anyway my guess is that, like just about every free-to-play game, nothing is client sided. Sucks that developers don't all do like Mortal Kombat 11 when it comes to "Always Online". And of course thank ya for the effort.
