IS it worth me upgrading to lifetime plus to be able to put in a request for more options on anno 1404 history edition? Also, do past trainers work with it?

Yes on the first part but second if you can provide a copy of your paid receipt.

No, we cannot guarantee that any requested option will be added as some may be literally impossible. No way to know until we see the request and look at the code. Note that option requests must also be voted on once approved before they are checked/added to the game.
