I did not have the pleasure of meeting Jaks, or speaking directly to him through the Forum. He sounds like a caring individual and overall excellent human being. I hope to meet many like him throughout my life. Rest well, sir!

Knew of Jaks but can't say I knew Jaks beyond a few interactions on the forums, from what I saw Jaks seemed like a good person and passionate member of the community and I'm sure they will be greatly missed. My condolences.

When someone dies of cancer, we say "They lost their battle with cancer", as if between the two of them, cancer was the better. But if you think about it, if they die from cancer, then cancer dies too. And if they survive cancer, cancer loses its battle with them. Cancer never wins!

I was sorry to hear Jaks had passed away. I have only ever had positive experiences with him, and he always seemed to bring a sense of reason and understanding to the forums. He'll be a missed member of our community.
