Can this game be played OFFLINE.. like with INTERNET SHUT OFF?

I assume this is ONLINE and similar to other diablo games likely using battlenet, warden, and anticheats that block access to the game .exe

If anyone wants to just experiment with CoSMOS or cosmos and tell us that you can modify values in the game BEFORE we buy this game and start looking at it (and likely waste money trying to work on it), then that would be great..

last I checked you had to connect to a server and then load your character

What I read, this game is nothing like D1-D3. It's a MMORPG, which was originally built for mobile phones. They said there are "some" things that you can solo but it's still an MMO. I don't even think we should dip our toes into this pond considering how Blizzard went apeshit with our D3 cheats.

Yes, I can confirm this is Online only - MMO game, not the same as Diablo 1 to 3.

You do realize this game uses the Blizzard launcher which infact has the top-level anti-cheat software, so i doubt your even get past the blizzard launcher anti-cheat system. I think they are planning on releasing Diablo Immortal to steam, not sure what thats gonna look like. it might take them possibly 4-6 years to implement it to steam if they use server-sided for steam or it could be exactly the same as on the Blizzard launcher.

I am currently playing through this game. It is Blizzards pay to play version of Diablo to compete with other phone games. You get a free base game and then you can pay if you want to cheat. Hope you guys come up with something because they are making $$$ per line item on this one. Either way the game is free to download, unfortunately within the blizzard app on PC.

We will not be touching this with my a 10 ft. pole.
