I have a suggestion to either change the current 12h "validity" (time after which it will be automatically refreshed when opened) of the downloaded favorite offline trainer to a longer period or add option for user to choose it.

In my case, I'm using desktop PC, so offline trainers are mainly for case when internet goes out or your server and I can live with refresh period being closer to the 7 day deadline. But I can see that laptop/tablet users may want shorter period as they can be without the internet more often (hence why I think giving choice would be better).

Suggestion comes from the fact, that I'm now locked out of downloading offline trainers for 7 days now because Aurora redownloaded perfectly valid trainers every day I opened them. With just 12h before offline trainer will be redownloaded it's extremely easy to hit the limit if you launch few different games every day.

A normal user doesn't play more than 10 games per week and with playing I mean including the desire of having offline trainers for more than 10 games per week. We clearly said that there will be a compromise and change of how offline trainers are going to work with Aurora.

If you launch 300 times a trainer for one game in Aurora and even without the 12h limit, you will NEVER reach the limit. Because this only counts as 1 game. But if you are trying to dump our entire trainer database to your hard disk you will reach the limit instead. I do not plan to make any changes here.

I don't know what the number limit is, but I for sure didn't dump entire base and don't intend to. I just opened 6 trainers (as you continuously add support for new ones now, I replace standalone ones with ones for Aurora as they show up), and 1 or 2 of them few times as I actually played the games.

Practically each time I launched them, I saw notification that offline trainer was downloaded (I usually play games after work, so in most cases when I open trainer it will be like 20 hours from last time I launched it, so your current system needlessly re-downloads them each time I open them).

And why jumping with dumping trainers? I'm asking for option to NOT DOWNLOAD them practically each time I launch them. How is it dumping them? I'm not asking to increase limit of downloads or extend their validity, only for option to NOT DOWNLOAD them practically each time I launch them.

As I said, for a desktop PC, automatically re-downloading after just 12h seems way too often. If you don't want to give option to change that period, at least add option to disable auto-refresh completely and lest user take care of it.

The limit is 10 (games) per 7 days. An offline trainer is only downloaded if you actively click on download or if you added it to your favorites and launch it from there (then only every 12h the offline trainer is renewed).

Assuming you haven't downloaded an offline trainer yourself. Then you must have launched trainers for more than 10 games per week from the favorites. If you want to avoid hitting this limit and you don't want to lower the amount of trainers per game you launch per week then you can either launch the trainer not from the favorites. Then no offline trainer is downloaded.

Yes, I use favorites bar to launch trainers, seems kinda obvious thing to do.

Current issue most likely was caused by me replacing standalone trainers with AIO ones, but I can easily play more than 10 different games a week when many new games launch in a short term.

I normally have about 4 constant games (now RDR2, GTA V, Hitman and Boneworks) that I just play with cheats after finishing them, 2 older ones to finish (now Yakuza and MGS V) and then either new ones (now God of War and DL2) or some depending on a mood (in total I have 20 titles installed most of the time, though some of them I play without cheats like racing games or city builders and some are so old that most likely won't get AIO support either way).

You seem to only take into scenario with average gamer with a single computer (I such case indeed exceeding 10 games with cheats per week most likely won't happen), but ignore mine case (more avid gamer) or more than one person using a computer to play games (for example one machine per family, not such uncommon situation in my country especially with current prices).

So I stand by my case - option to either disable auto-refresh or change 12h time before refresh should be added. Especially since as you said, it is not a security measure really as it can be avoided (it's just annoying to do).

Disable auto refresh would apply to all your favorite trainers then. This wouldn't be a per-trainer option. Would that be okay?
