In response to PWizard's post that stated:
"Not going to happen. What if a different user needs to login? What if you change your email address or password? Multiple reasons why it needs to stop and you take 0.0001 millisecond to click the login button with your credentials saved."
My Responses:
What if a different user needs to login? Log out, but the occurrence of multiple registered users using the same Windows account is somewhat unlikely, each user would likely have their own, or it would not matter as they were on the same machine with the same installed software.
What if you change your email address or password? Same as first, log out or prompt the user to login again when it fails to auto-login and prompt to enable auto-login on next login.
Multiple reasons why it needs to stop and you take 0.0001 millisecond to click the login button with your credentials saved. Why is it such a bad thing when just about every game platform on the market allows for auto-login and allows for users to log out? IE: Steam, Epic, XBox, Battle.net, Arc, Amazon, Ubisoft, etc., I would say that they have effectively responded to your proposed problems and have still included the requested feature.
*Additionally, a click takes longer than 0.0001ms not to mention the human reaction time needed to recognize the login screen and click the button which is much longer and waiting for the app to load and prompt the user for a login screen is much longer than the app simply loading with saved credentials.

Typically when PWizard makes a call it's final (He's the boss) and after a decade plus I've learned to just accept it. That being said yes you have created a new thread based of a thread he locked, ending discussion of it and while you do have a valid case it doesn't change the outcome.

Answer: There are many reasons and one of them is What happens if you have children who like to click things and don't understand they can't use our cheats online and get your account banned?
We can go back and fourth on this but its not going to change the outcome. It's a extra safety measure

Because improper use of auto logging in accounts like Amazon doesn't risk getting a ban on the both the Game account and CH account because you had someone else messing around with cheats.
By having the log in button you are acknowledging every time you launch the program that you are logging into an account that improper use can result in damage.
At the end of the day we could have a back and fourth for every part of the post. For the time being this is how it will be, and I'm grateful. There are those who would want it either way, This way has the least impact on both and therefore was the solution CH decided on going on.
