We don't / cannot support Sunbreak on Gamepass (which is also not part of the gamepass, just available in MS store to purchase separately). But we support Sunbreak on Steam.

So is this trainer no longer relevant for those who bought Sunbreak? What about those who buy (or bought) the base game on xbox/pc so they can crossplay? The only reason I'm not playing the steam version is because I have friends on xbox and the steam version isn't crossplay.

Sorry, when I say those who bought the base game, I'm meaning not using game pass anymore.

Same here, i am using gamepass - i was putting the request to update for gamepass version for Sunbreak, cuz i already bought it there. and it was rejected three times.
asked for an update in this board and my messages is being edited by moderator "Please don't beg for stuff"

what is wrong with playing with gamepass version, i really don't understand?
why can't we go to proceed with the update request for gamepass version?

If I understand what 0x90 is saying, there is no "gamepass" version of sunbreak and that the version of sunbreak CH supports is the Steam one.

From what I can tell, the base game(ie MHR) is available on gamepass but sunbreak isn't part of gamepass and is instead only available for purchase in the MS store along with the MS store version of MHR. When you buy MHR+sunbreak from the MS store, you are getting a version that is different from gamepass.

In short, even though the trainer supports the gamepass version of MHR, the MS store version of mhr+sunbreak is considered a different version because it is not part of gamepass unlike MHR.I think that's where your confusion lies. The version you bought is not a gamepass version. Even though both are under microsoft, there is a clear distinction between game pass and the paid full copy of the game as well as dlcs.

As such, I think you would have to make a platform request for the MS store version of mhr+sunbreak instead of an update request. Subject to CH's approval and meeting the credit funding amount if approved.

I tried purchasing the Sunbreak DLC on Gamepass and ended up with a weird error linking to an unhelpful FAQ page on Microsoft.com. Now as you say MHR + Sunbreak, which is also available, I tried that and it worked.
