Ok, now that I can breathe again. And type. Thanks for all the nice comments, guys. It's a strange feeling winning something like this. On the one hand I was so ecstatic, I couldn't sit still. On the other hand I couldn't help but feel for others that also could have used a prize like that.

Sorry if this is corny but I wanna share this. I'm a big believer in Karma. 30 minutes before the GP drawing, I was watching the news about all the people that just lost their homes in the storms and they showed info about donating to the Red Cross for them. I called my nephew up front and told him we needed to send a donation to the Red Cross to help out. A few minutes later I look here and see my name winning the grand prize. I could not believe it. I told DragonStryder about it.

Karma or dumb luck, I don't know but I'm forever grateful to Chris and CH for this fantastic event. Everyone I talked to and those that posted comments were saying what a great time they had. It was truly a great event at a perfect time of the year, especially after the year we've all had. I'm very fortunate and I'm truly humbled by all this. Now I'm gonna have an EggNog.

Fate always conspires to keep me from being here for the Day of Giving. Today was a car wreck and by the time I got home it was over. On the plus side, my hoodie showed up, so that's cool.
