Well, thanks for trying. I reinstalled AOE4 on Steam, reinstalled Aurora, made sure no AV was running again with newest trainer, followed directions to the letter, still same results. Trainer works great in Campaign mode (all options work) but only speed (F9) works in Skirmish mode (vs. A.I.). It's okay, I appreciate your time. Cheers. 🙂
I got the same problem. nothing works except for F9.
But it happened only when I recently changed my portrait when I unlocked it through Masteries. I changed it to Holy Roman Relic Masteries 12.
But now when I checked the Debug tab. I discover that the last line reads:
Successfully attached to RelicCardinal_ws
In my opinion that doesn't look right. Why would the trainer attach itself to just one tiny component of the whole software.
Hey Xico, yeah I've been trying everything to no avail. I tried deleting the game path in Aurora then running the game in Steam offline mode then running the trainer so it finds the game (didn't make a difference) but now when I try and launch game from Aurora it says "Looks like you need to renew Gold, if your subscription is current try quitting and relaunching the game" so now I have to launch trainer from folder instead of Aurora. Meh.
That could give indeed a solution to the both our problems. Run the trainer from a download instead of from Aurora.
But still doesn't explain in my case that the trainer would attached itself to a decoration item instead of the game engine.

there will no longer be any new/updated trainers since Aurora was voted on and funded by the users
