Supposedly, all cards are unlocked in solo mode, which allows you to try out builds ahead of time.

The devs already addressed the fact that they are looking into changing that. Then trainers would be useful in unlocking everything in Solo.

Anyone else had any luck with the gamepass version and the new update? Still not working for me.

I've already played the game a bunch and unlocked all I really care to. Now I want to run around like a god with unlimited ammo in solo and just decimate everything. Trouble is, I have the game pass version and I get an error saying the file couldn't be installed. I've already read the previous comments and it sounds like it's hit or miss. Too bad the game devs made the game like this. It's not like the game is competitive and needs such protections.

Scratch that. I got it to work. I just renamed the EOS folder, disabled my internet, launched the game using the REGULAR shortcut, and then re-renabled my internet after the game loaded. Basically the same as the video shows. The instructions tell you to use the shortcut provided in the trainer download. I didn't have to. So if that's what the game pass video is suggesting, it isn't terribly clear. Also, the EOS folder showed in the video won't be present until you run the game for the first time after install. Had to figure that one out too since I've played exclusively on xbox up until this point, because I wanted to cheat. Trainer worked fine in a solo game. Had a blast.

Very good. If you believe our readme needs to be altered, please provide the alternate text. The video provided assumes that you have already run the game and may not be identical to all installations, that's just how it worked on our test system. If anyone would like to make a different/better video, we will be happy to host it.

As you said, you can only comment on how it worked in your test environment and provide instruction based on that. You can't account for every scenario. Any text or video I produce would surely exclude scenarios I didn't encounter. If it was a major deviation from the instructions or if the original instructions were grossly outdated or inaccurate then they should be redone. I think the "base" instruction is appropriate, and any alternative instructions should be sought in the forum, which is why I chose to share my solution.

JFYI, Turtle Rock posted yesterday in their Trello: "Investigation concluded, working on implementation of Offline Campaign including progression" and they renamed the card to "Offline Campaign with Progression", so, there is a hope here
