You guys can keep posting without taking the bother to read what sniper posted. the game is still on hold.

I do believe it was updated while on hold if Im not mistaken.. True though, it was working even without an update.. I still think ARK is the most updated game in history..lol

I am also getting an error about not finding the player, but I then double checked the trainer page on this site, and saw it was on hold.
A pity as the trainer was working with the previous patch, but I understand that the trainer is on hold, and understand the reasoning behind the trainer being on hold. despite the game being out of early access and being updated weekly. with seemingly QOL stuff. (Or at least the last update seemed to be like that. having a slot specifically for backpacks, slot for carrying scanner equipment and animals separately from my understanding.)

I do enjoy this game and the trainer has helped in the past, before the latest update, especially with being invisible to the animals that flee from the player when they detect the player.

While I wholeheartedly understand, this really sucks for those of us who do use it. I have over 150 hours in the game, and this is the first time the trainer has failed to launch after an update.

They have been updating once a week (because yes, it is following the new-age practice of release broken as a non-descript early access), but nothing has broken the trainer for me. It'll update, but the trainer will still work.

There are games that most will never play getting trainers worked on, I guess I'm just confused as to why something like "Tharsis" (peak players on Steam 688, 6 in 24 hour peak) or Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnought (Peak 1,618, 24 hours being 516) would take precedence over ICARUS (52,300 Peak, 24h 5,700). Would you get more subscribers from those games I'm guessing?

It's hard to see from written text, none of this is written with malice, I'm just genuinly curious and trying to grasp when I might see a trainer for one of my more recent favorites. Especially after a nice update where they finally add things we've been asking for.

There are games that are easy to create a trainer (no ingame anticheat/scanners/entcryption,etc) which when the game's themselves are updated rarely and enough of the community requests them they are added into a queue. There are also others that have every security known to man and get updated often.

With early access or games regurly going through major updates, they are given a lower priority as the longevity of the trainer is weighed against the amount of time a trainer takes to get created against who often the game gets updated. The sad thing is the trainer makers rarely get to play games and the process of creating a trainer is remarkably repetitive. Imagine replicating getting injured ingame/dying 50 times (30+ minutes) just to get an single trainer option (out of many) and find out they change the script for different weather or armor. I'm not saying this is the case for this title merily using it as an example. In short a Trainer maker has to judge his time by it's usefulness. If he feels it's better used marking a difficult game on hold until it slows down, they will. Otherwise they end up retiring it.

Using your examples:
Tharsis wasn't updated by us in around 6 years and has one option. which only brings Unlock Developer/Cheat Menu.
Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnought trainer update has been updated today and at time of posting has 56 downloads already.

Titles like Icarus which can take all day to check/verify/scan with the likelyhood of lasting long before the next update can take them away from making 4-10 other trainers. It's a judgement call that the trainer maker has to use. There is always a trainer queue. Currently 72 that need to be tested and if needed a new update posted. There are titles that simply get updated too often and take to long to program for us to support until they are closer to "complete".

This game is back on hold. we took it off to update it some but it's back to stupid update pattern..

I don't think I thanked you for your hard work for ages, so thank you. I hope they finish with this weekly update nonsense soon. I completely agree with you and understand why it's on hold. I like this game but I'm rubbish at it, so I'm not touching it until they stop patching it and you can make a trainer for it again.

Hey ah, I kno it's on hold n all cause you're waiting on the game to settle out with less updates... but thats gonna be a problem. The game is probably 2 years from being 'finished', it's updated every week, and probably will be the whole time.

Could I trouble ya to give us an update now, then say once a month there after. Usually the trainer doesn't break completely with each weekly update, so I think we'd all be happy if we can get a monthly check/update for icarus going forward.

Whatever the time frame I just ask for a regular interval to give us an update/check.
