You guys can keep posting without taking the bother to read what sniper posted. the game is still on hold.
I do believe it was updated while on hold if Im not mistaken.. True though, it was working even without an update.. I still think ARK is the most updated game in history..lol
Sadly the game has updated yet again and now the old trainer no longer works. I know its on hold and thats fine, just sad the trainer isnt working anymore.

Last time Cal created a trainer while it was on hold it lasted 24 hours before an update came along.

The Size of the patch has zero influence on if we make a trainer. It takes a programmer away from games that don't update weekly (or 3 times in 48 hours like early feb). For an experience that could last as little as 24 hours.
I'd love to play the game with a trainer as I own the game myself. Sometimes the trainer maker has to make difficult calls in order to prioritize for the experience of everyone.
Five updates in a month with some as the user notes 2GB does not typically give our Trainer Maker confidence the game is complete. Rather then a they release the game, rely on paying customers to test it, then fix/update based off that....
We offer a service like Netflix, where we create trainers for a vast assortment of games. We take requests for things to be added but have to weigh the impact it has. There is limited time and with limited staff, when one game takes hours to create for an unknown amount of time before needing an update it given less priority then a title just as popular but doesn't get updated frequently.

Game is On Hold and isn't showing signs of slowing down yet.
STATUS: ON HOLD - This game is currently patching very frequently and/or is early access with few downloads. It is counter-productive to continue updating the trainer under these circumstances. When the title becomes more stable and/or is out of early access, it will be re-evaluated for an updated trainer. Trainer updates for this game may still be released intermittently while in this status depending on our current workload.
While I wholeheartedly understand, this really sucks for those of us who do use it. I have over 150 hours in the game, and this is the first time the trainer has failed to launch after an update.
They have been updating once a week (because yes, it is following the new-age practice of release broken as a non-descript early access), but nothing has broken the trainer for me. It'll update, but the trainer will still work.
There are games that most will never play getting trainers worked on, I guess I'm just confused as to why something like "Tharsis" (peak players on Steam 688, 6 in 24 hour peak) or Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnought (Peak 1,618, 24 hours being 516) would take precedence over ICARUS (52,300 Peak, 24h 5,700). Would you get more subscribers from those games I'm guessing?
It's hard to see from written text, none of this is written with malice, I'm just genuinly curious and trying to grasp when I might see a trainer for one of my more recent favorites. Especially after a nice update where they finally add things we've been asking for.
