has anyone noticed constant crashing when trying to load their save on pc
my game didn't do this last update did ubisoft break something?
When I hut continue at the main menu the game crashes after loading hell it once crashed before getting to the main menu,
It does crash for me as well. With all the troubleshooting steps and when the trainer prompted me to disabled the overlay. I tried to continue my game without the trainer being open after trying to run the trainer and it appears to have corrupted my save even after a restart and validating my files. I can start a new game though. 😩
Actually I'm a dumb dumb. I just noticed all the settings after the update were wayyyyy off from what was set before. I used GeForce Experience to quickly optimize those settings and the game works fine with the trainer.
Found the problem with crashing .. it is NOT the trainer . I hade the same problem . the patch messed up some files in the game .. to fix this is simple . just go into your ubisoft account find your game press the little pull down tab and verify you game files and the when it ask you if you want to repair them click yes.. And then simply restart your game and Have some Fun ... Hop this helps 🙂
UPDATE: The verify completed and still crashed....so I looked to the FarCry subreddit and found many other users reporting the same crashing issue as I did.
I ended up updating my NVIDIA driver to the one that came out yesterday (Version 496.49) and then ALSO disabling the in-game Ubisoft overlay.
The crashing is gone and I didn't have to start up a new game...I resumed my existing game just fine. Good luck to everyone!

Learn how to make your own Trainer Cleaner for the above paths here.
Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again. May also need to run the game without the trainer first and play a bit so the save file gets updated to use possible new values. This typically will resolve the issue.
This cleaner is also part of the new Cheat Happens Trainer Manager 2.0, it is found in the settings and has an easy to use one button click feature.
