I understand that it's put on hold, I just want to give a heads up that the trainer cannot even be activated.

I cannot verify if the other features are still working however it refuses to activate. Maybe disabling this collect_xp lookup may allow the trainer to bind to the game?

so far the game was updated at least 4 times since the trainer was updated. The trainer will stay on hold until it is released fully

The game finally hit version 1.0!
I'd recommend waiting a couple of days for all the patches, and then maybe un-on-holding the trainers.

Can this title please be taken off of on hold so that update requests can be made for it again? It's now been released into 1.0.

I would suggest waiting until the game doesn't patch for at least a month

Games get patched all the time, why is it such a problem for this one?

They have retired/put on hold other games that have patched very frequently as well.

For end users like us, it's a simple matter of pressing a button to activate the cheat but for the cheat makers, it could take hours or even days of work just to make those options for us. And if their work keeps getting invalidated every time(some even patch multiple times a day) a minor patch comes about, it's not sustainable to keep updating it. They have other games to handle as well. Would you be satisfied if it gets updated today only to not work a few hours later just because of a patch? If more people are willing to play in steam offline mode to avoid the patches, then maybe the trainer makers might be willing to update.

It's also why I'm buying more of my games on gog since that version allows us to update at our own discretion so I can wait for the trainer to be updated first before updating the game. Even if it takes a long time, at least I would still be able to use the existing trainers.

One of those patches was the full release, and the second one was hotfixes for softlocking issues. It's extremely unlikely that it'll continue to patch like it was previously with massive changes to the code and how systems work since this is its full release.
