Mass Effect Legendary Edition Message Board  

Hi I downloaded a ME2 completed save game and I put in a directory but neither Mass Effect 2 or Mass Effect 3 see it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. FYI I tried googling this and didn't anything about it online.

ok.. if you're moving the save files while ur paused ingame, it won't find it , u'll need to restart the game.

in ME2 , u need to put the pcsav file inside an existing save folder (for example: Jane_33_Adept_280521_241b7ae) , start the game , load careers , switch careers, select
"Jane Shepard" ...and it should the top save

u need to copy the same folder/file structure on how the saves are stored ..u cannot just plonk the save file into ME folder, it just won't work like that

I'm trying to use a save file I downloaded from Nexusmods.

i tested nexusmods save files and also used my original ME saves from the 1st game incarnations, they work fine

easiest way is to create a default game, make a save, exit , go into ur windows explorer , my documents> bioware> ME legendary > ME2 > jane or john folder , then add in ur downloaded save ...and follow my previous post

And the savegame is from Mass effect legendary edition and not just one of the original games just so we are clear.
