Hello,

My question here is for the game "Gold Rush - The Game" but since the help I need might be a general help in editing the files of other Unity Games, too, I hope it's okay to post it here. If not, I'm sorry for this and would ask a mod to move it please, if possible.

Okay, back to topic: What I want to achieve is to increase the cargo size of several objects in the game permamently, like the normal shovel, the buckets (I know there is a Trainer option for this, still, would be handy) the Hog Pan, the Excavators, etc. so it's easier and faster to move large amounts of dirt around/process them.

Normally some games have easy to edit .xml files and I really love that. But ye, it's Unity here and those files are compiled to prevent cheating/hacking. I don't take part in the seasons of the game with highscore and prices, so this is no Multiplayer cheating. I only play this solo for me, to relax and to have some fun after work. But I don't know how, where to start and which files containts the data I want to edit.

So if anyone is fit with this stuff and might have the patience to explain it to a newbie and guide me, I would very appreciate that!

The request look and sound fine to me...but as you previously wrote:

Patience go both ways and reviving the tread is a good way to find what you want 😎

I want to learn this to edit Unity files in other games, too. That makes it kinda general. I mentioned that in my post and when this thread is still here, it looks like the mods are fine with that, too.

And I'm thankful for that, because my chances to find some help will be much greater here, since this game is allready old, has a small playerbase and the subforum therefor is most likely less to not visited these days.

I meant that you also will need patience to find someone who can answer your query, and by adding relevant information in a timely basis you have better chance to be read.
