Does your keyboard have all individually addressable keys? Or can it just light up sections of the keyboard at a time? The RGB only works for keyboards where all of the keys can be individually lit.
as it turns out the Keyboard doesn't have individually addressable keys
@B4Marc: While this might be easier for me to implement it, it does not guarantee maximum support. Most people have the software of their keyboard manufacturer installed and if they provide an API, then it works with all (future) keyboards. OpenRGB is a third party implementation if I rely on them and there is just one manufacturer or keyboard issue, all I would be able to is to sit and wait. But if there is an issue with the direct keyboard manufacturer API then I can immediately work on it, because its my own implementation and not somebody else.
Also since openRGB is a replacement for keyboard manufacturer software I don't know how reliable it works if people have the software installed and both are running at the same time.
Yes, understood, always better to work on something strong than weak and prone to break anytime.
Thanks for your light!
Great idea, I'll throw my hat into the Logitech G910 request also 😀
We already have Logitech support.
