I say buy it on Origin because with the PC version of the game you still have to use Origin to run it anyway.

So it looks like whether you start the launcher or click on the individual exe's, they all take you to the launcher. I'm assuming that this will make a difference for the trainers, but wanted to update.

I agree with this, only because Fanatical has a discount on it. Not a very big one mind you, but paying less is always better. And they only have origin activation.
