Recommend NOT using cloud save, turn it off and use local only. If save structure has changed since last version, play it for a bit with NO trainer to update the save close it then relaunch with trainer. Maybe wait until actually loaded into a game and then activate it.

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again. May also need to run the game without the trainer first and play a bit so the save file gets updated to use possible new values. This typically will resolve the issue.

I'm seeing the same issues:
Instant Research isn't working.
Instant training isn't working either. When "Instant training" is enable, all regular research stops.

Can there be an option to build everywhere and have no building restrictions?

Are any of you guys having issues with crashing to desktop frequently in the 1.7.0 version of the trainer/game? Everything was working fine for me with the 1.6.1 version of both, I've gone through all the troubleshooting steps listed in the troubleshooting section, but I still get CTDs super frequently when using the trainer now.
