I did but not work.
did you launch it directly from steam?
Is use of the trainer and launcher causing the game to register anyone as a cheater? I only ask because I don't want to get banned from online play once it's fixed.
In accordance with PCFs use of trainers or cheating policy, players will not be banned, they will just not be able to play with "legit" players, or in other words, players who haven't cheated. You will only be able to group with (when using the in game rando group finder) other players who have also used trainers or cheated. You can however, bypass this by grouping or inviting players (verified via people who use steam) directly from your friends list. You will know, if you are already on this "list" by getting a pop-up saying you are in a low priority que etc...
Again, you will not be banned from the game, nor will you receive a VAC for this game, you will just (at some point, unknown when) receive a watermark for using a trainer or cheating..

I spoke to a friend of mine that her husband works there. And same this was said. BUT, if you use the DEMO version of the game ( hacked one ) then that will get your account banned and VAC ban. There is a DEMO version of the game that is masked as full version. Just letting you guys know that will get you a perma-ban.
This trainer, will not get you banned. Not yet though
Your friend's husband, needs to read their own cheating policy, and then, get a lesson on how Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) works... You can't have Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) and VAC together. Normally, companies will work with steam to enact VAC (like COD), and btw, where I got my lovely brand from 7 years ago, I do so cherish my lovely account tattoo.
Nobody has been banned from Outriders, nor have the received an account VAC from using a trainer or cheating in the Beta, because everyone using this trainer did, and none have suffered either.
I highly doubt, and I find your statement very misleading as well, that PcF will ever do anything but use a watermark on their game, if.. IF they even do that... Fear mongering isn't something that is good to sew when you, and "your friends husband" are just making assumptions based off of nothing known. Don't make an a$$ out of yourself by assuming anything, with a statement like "not yet thought"..
