The trainer was working perfect for me (still working now) so not sure why 5 people said it needed an update, I havent had any issues with the settings so far when following the instructions.
you just replace the EAC.exe with the one you get, thats what i do, but it does not start the game. if there are any other things to do, this is nowhere written.
Find and delete the MADNESS folder and use the trainer cleaner. Link Can also be found in the new Trainer Manage 2.0, also can try ctrl-alt-del and find the 2nd outriders running in the Background Processes (not the main one) and ending it. Last is just something I read so not sure if its valid or not.

The only MADNESS folder I have found is in the game's directory and it is a very large folder: 42 GB. I don't think deleting that would be wise.
Might be another one somewhere else for saves or maybe a temp, something I saw on reddit for certain errors.
The folder you're looking for is:
C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Madness\Saved\Crashes
At least that's where crash dumps gets saved, 300 MB every time you crash. They add up quickly, I had 15GB.
