What also helps for smoother gameplay is "specialk", i use the "Assassins Creed Valhalla" version and get stable frametimes.

Having an issue getting the game to launch with the replaced EAC_OUTRIDERS.exe. I've created a new folder on my desktop, proceeded to put the original EAC... into that folder, then swapped the replacement into my steamapps>common>OUTRIDERS. I press Launch on steam and it says that it's running, but it never actually runs, looking at the CH it shows one moment "Game Running" then "Launch Game" rinse repeat into an endless loop. I've tried verifying my game files numerous times, and notta. Any help would be much appreciated.

i had the exact same issue. a friend of mine suggested to delete the "madness" folder and it worked for me. the game starts smooth as before.

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Madness

Thanks for this, I tried it and it cleared up the issue I was having as well as a stuttering issue I have been having as well.

same issue，loop even if reinstall the game program
