So it seems they have instituted an .exe check to the login. Game crashed and during relog an error popped up stating "EasyAntiCheat Error: Failed to create IGameClient instance! Check that the game was run from the correct launcher. Online Play may not be available." God do I hate EasyAntiCheat.
Yeah, I think we all do 😅 At least all we have to do when the game crashes is restart and reactivatethe trainer-but the instability of this game is certainly something else.
Well.... It also seems that getting a ingame reward crashes the game now. The first optional quest (A Bad Day) got completed just fine. After this I went to collect my reward and it crashes every time I select one of the weapons. Doesn't matter which one. Tried running it without the trainer and got the same message as above.
"EasyAntiCheat Error: Failed to create IGameClient instance! Check that the game was run from the correct launcher. Online Play may not be available."
Sorry about the Eva thing. It seems it was already mentioned.
Might be worthwhile adding into the readme that you shouldn't activate the rare/legendary modifiers untill after the first optional quest.

Do you have the DLC items in your inventory? Those are causing big conflicts with getting rewards; try putting them back into your storage (if you have them).

That's been there for a while. Did you launch from Steam like it says? Sounds like you launched from the .exe I believe.
Regarding DROP PODS, and requests for that.. I am not playing all the way to the end of the campaign, sorry. I've been told you can use SCRAP to buy titanium, then use titanium to buy the drop pods, so in some ways, you can give yourself a ton of scrap and get Drop Pods this way.
Someone can report if they tried this and it works for them.
best,
Cal
Yes you are correct, any one playing to the endgame can just buy Drop Pods currency by using Titanium and just give themselves a ton of Drop Pods!!!

I'm launching from Steam and this problem is new. In fact before it started popping up I was unable to continue in the main quest because every time a required door was opened the game would freeze or crash. I tried it with and without the trainer, and I've been using the trainer almost from day one with no real problems, and it still did it then the last several times I've launched it I'm getting the same error.
