So all my trainers just stopped working. Played fine last night but today every one says "windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." Yes I opened it as administrator, yes I turned off and even uninstalled my virus protector, and yes I redownloaded the zip files multiple times and they still come out the same. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Are you using a Windows insider build by any chance?

Could you please check if the folder where the trainers are as well as the trainer itself is added to the scan exclusion list of your Windows Defender to see if that makes any difference? (remember to also redownload the trainer once you have added the folder to the exclusion list)

I believe it was webroot. I restarted my pc and redownloaded after uninstalling webroot completely and the new download worked.

Webroot is notorious for blocking trainers, even when disabled.
