I seen the origin one is fully funded im guessing we need to do another trainer request for the steam version

Once the Origin version is done, if someone can test it on Steam, it just may work. If so report back, if not then request a Steam version.

It's gonna be like all the other EA games on steam now, you'll be running it through origin anyway.

Just completed the download of the preload game files. Waiting for the official release date which is 2 days away. Hope the trainer gurus here can cook up some wonderful options for this game.

Its usually better, specially on steam to just download it when it is released instead of pre-loading, as unpacking / verifying usually takes longer then fresh download.

Unless you have horrible internet then both will take forever.

luckily origin preload is raw files, steam encrypts preloaded files and compress them thats why it takes a while, but origin you get them all, not that it matters as it seems to use denuvo.

I bought (pre-ordered) Mass Effect Legendary Edition on the STEAM before few months. I have lot of games (620 games via my STEAM account info) on the STEAM, that's why I choose STEAM when buying games.

Donwload speed was a nice (up to 114,20MB/sec on my 1Gbps internet line).

Otherwise (OFF-TOPIC) EA's games from STEAM, which request Origin for playing, have one interesting feature. It share DLCs from STEAM and from Origin (when you have a main game on boht platforms).

e.g. I bought SIMS 4 when it was released on the DVD and there was necessary activate the license key on the Origin. During 2020 Christmas holiday was the Sims 4 with a huge discount on the STEAM.

I tried buy it again (the main game on the Steam was very cheap) with one new DLC which I haven't on Origin. When I run STEAM version of the game I can use all DLCs which I bought on the Origin before with that new one DLC which I bought on the STEAM. It is very interesting feature.

Of course this anomaly request buy main game twice on both platforms (e.g. in special offer with a huge discount).
