Gamepad and keyboard issues

Just a heads up (maybe other people have encountered the same issues?):
Trainer activation destroys my game pad functionality (left analog stick, X Box1 for Windows) under game patch 1.04. If I wanted to use the trainer, I could only use keyboard and mouse. After installation of patch 1.05 problem persisted and now includes arrow keys on keyboard (means I cannot choose dialogue options anymore).

Any ideas?
