The Editor options for everything but Money, Weight, and perks do not work for me in Act 2 (actually since the last quest of act 1). I tested this function with the save in early act 1, it works well, but when using the save for act 2, the data is ?? or a huge value which is incorrect. I have attached a save of act 2. I am using the GOG version, but the Steam version has the same problem.
I can confirm that the Editor options for everything but Money and Weight do not work for me in Act 2. Although the Attribute-Perk fields will populate after I receive one or the other.
Same issue here, now that I am in Act. 2, I can only use Money and Weight in the Editor. All I see is '??" in all the other options. Other than that, the trainer works fine.
If you are in Act 2 please upload your save here so we can test it.

Works for saves of early act 1 as usual, the method does not work for the save after that
