XCOM 2: War of the Chosen Message Board  

I opened the trainer once, then I closed it, now when i open the trainer, it crashes. Doesn't matter if the game is running or not, it just doesn't open successfully. I open the trainer with administration permission. I have tried to download the .exe again, but it just does the same thing. Anyone have suggestions? I doubt this is happening to anyone else.

Make sure the proper exclusions are set for your antivirus

Trainer.exe and or folder it is in
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work (trainers working folder)

Also recent Windows updates may have corrupt your .NET cores, it happen to me and I had to re-install them. Good idea to do the framework as well.

Have both latest .NET CORE and FRAMEWORK

dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-core/current/runtime
dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-framework

(Both of the Net-Core MUST be installed x86 and x64)

Thank you, it took a while, but I did what you asked, and it worked. Although for some reason the trainer crashes randomly, it works for the most part. I appreciate the quick response! 😁
