blew away all CH folders on pc and redownloaded trainer to no avail. oddly its only this valhalla one i have issues with, all others work. error occurs regardless if game/ubi launcher is open or not.
and yes i am running as admin and turned off AV/Firewall (standard practice when using trainers)

suspect whatever is wrong is a me issue but NFI why it suddenly broke; even my offline key with av, firewall and internet all off makes no diffrence so must be some weird local pc file it hates. that or my userID is messing up files now rofl

minor update, checked event viewer and saw similar in the DOOM eternal thread. it appears to be a dot net error causing trainers to be a dice roll if open or not.

i moved it to dekstop and it opens... so weird seems it hates being on anything not C:\

way ahead of you. first thing i did was purge C drive.
seems your trainers are not playing nice with dot net anymore if not on C drive is all. NFI why but easy enough to work around

sorry for wasting time on prior, as a lol i moved file back to same file location it was in prior and while it failed and fails in any sub folder in parent folder also if i change the file name by 1 letter it works. some weird hash error when file was generated does not like the structure i had it in and breaks cert it seems

Actually none of my CH Trainers are working right now.

I tried copying the AC Valhalla 1.2.2 trainer to my desktop, but that does not solve the problem.

Also, did a comprehensive Windows Update of everything, including an apparent NET Frame update.

No help.

Tried installing the AC Valhalla Trainer on my D: Drive.

No help.

I have an older Windows 8.1 Gaming PC. All of the CH trainers installed on it, still work fine.

Answered via PM, added instructions to the tips sheet for anybody else having the trainers seem to stop working.

Hmm, for some reason the trainer is maxing out my 3080. I thought it was the game but at its highest settings, its only using 25-35% of the GPU. When the trainer is opened (not activated, just opened) it pushes the GPU to 100% and the game eventually crashes after 5-10 mins of gameplay.

I verified the game and tried testing it before and after I fully updated drives for the 3080, same results.

Specs:
i7-10700k @ 3.8 GHz
32GB of RAM
Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080

EDIT: Found out the problem, the game goes haywire on high settings and 2440p and an uncapped frame rate. If you go down to 1080p and cap the framerate at simply its highest setting - 90 frames- the GPU calms down when using the trainer.

I didn't delete my post incase other come across this issue.
