Hmm, interesting the game just crashed again. Only TotalAV antivirus actually caused it by detecting a malicious code on the game. This is not necessarily cheat happens trainer causing it either, though I obviously don't have a clue how trainers interact with game code. According to AV it found AkSoundEngine.dll [pua/BitcoinMiner.Gen7] this was in the Solasta folder ...steamapps\common\Slasta_COTM\Solasta_Data\Plugins\x86_64\AKSoundEmgine.dll
So is this something the trainer does and if so is it a false positive?
trainers don't touch .dll files at all other than modify memory values, I would suggest grabbing that file and uploading it to virustotal to see if its just your AV
Loaded the trainer then the game, as soon as I press F1 to activate the trainer, game freezes and crashes,

I would suggest putting in an update request, the more requests put in the quicker it would be looked at
Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Read previous posts, validated files, trainer runs and game doesnt crash but have noted that although the version is correct, when using unlimited power uses Barbarian Rage uses still going down.
