Below is the normal criteria for putting a trainer on hold. There might be other reason also, but in general this is the most common ones.
This also has written in it what is needed for it to come out of hold.

STATUS: ON HOLD - This game is currently patching very frequently and/or is early access with few downloads. It is counter-productive to continue updating the trainer under these circumstances. When the title becomes more stable and/or is out of early access, it will be re-evaluated for an updated trainer. Trainer updates for this game may still be released intermittently while in this status depending on our current workload

this game has not updated since the day after it was put on hold status (oh the irony)
any chance we might see an updated trainer for it again?

Hi,
When another trainer will come, I hope, is it possible to have the choice for downloading it without Aurora please ?
Because I can't download Aurora, even without any antivirus, so since you've started to put this trainer with Aurora, I can't no more play the game.
If it's possible, It will be very nice for me.

any new or updated trainer will be only available from Aurora this has been told time and time again, where have you been the last 6 months?

hi i was using this trainer for game pass before the update and now there seems to be only the steam version of the trainer and no game pass version. Has something occurred with the game pass version?😟😮😮

Well, it doesn't have many download because it's outdated. How can you expect people to download the trainer that is not working?
As for large number of patches, compared to ie. Pathfinder it had half as many updates in last month, yet Pathfinder is maintained regularly.

The latest trainer isn't showing up in Aurora properly, it'sappearing only the 1.2.15 version
