Game had 2 patches today, not sure if either may have broke any trainer functions.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

I found 6 values for each of the 6 stats in different locations that need to be edited for creation modding the character. This said, they just patched to 4.1.83.3931, and most of the editor doesn't work any longer, only the last item picked up.

I think this is the first time I've had a trainer where none of the editor options work for me even before the update. I tried on both DX11 and Vulkan. Played for 3 hours straight, got through quite a few quests... reloaded the game multiple times. Never once saw the fields in editor populate.

Unfortunately the Dev's chose the Early Access route on a supposed AAA game, in turn this means frequent tweaks and patching making trainers and editors very unpredictable on functionality. May have to wait till it's actual finished release state and post game patches come at a more manageable pace.

Larian uses early access as basically an open beta period to refine their design with community feedback. It's kind of similar to how Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord launched as early access. I'm assuming there are going to be lots of hotfixes and patches, so if that breaks the trainer I think everyone should just be patient. This is not the full game.

If you bought it, you should have known that this was the case by looking at any of the early access info. You paid to get the first chapter of the game early and help the development process. That being said, I managed to get all stats up to max (30) with CoSMOS, and I'm sure there will be tables floating around out there...so waiting on a trainer shouldn't be that big of a deal.

Anyone who participated in the DOS2 EA will tell you larian is probably the only major company to do early access the right way (see taleworlds, bannerlord). trainer making difficulties and such aside , it's undeniable that you're left with a vastly superior game when all is said and done.

Will there be a trainer for GOG version, or will the Steam version work?
