You will need to value of points invested into the stat, rather than the stat itself. It's a 4 byte value. You can do this during character creation with something like CoSMOS or CoSMOS.
[Edit]
1. Choose everything you want about your character except their stats. So appearence, yada yada.
2. Remove all allocated points from your attributes and If your Race permits it, remove any bonus selectable stats (the ones with plus/minus buttons, not the ones that just do a flat increase by 1)
3. Increase each stat by the same amount (You're counting the amount of clicks you put into the stat, not the number the stat shows)
4. Do your 4 byte search for the amount increased (I started with 3)
5. Change each stat equally, so they all have the same amount of points put into them - do your next search.
6. Repeat until you have a list of around 30-40 remaining, all showing the same thing.
7. Now change one stat by one and ensure that it shows a stat change in CoSMOS/CoSMOS
8. If everything seems to change according to your stats put in, add all those values to your address list.
9. Finish customization, and stat allocation (don't forget to set your race stats if you have them).
10. Click Venture forth and design your dream person and before you click venture forth again, select every address right click and change address value - set it to whatever you want. Do not go above 50~ The game shows a cap of 30, but for things like spell slots, it will go above 30, and your UI will glitch out. Also note that your spell slot attribute shouldn't be too high - just leave it at 16 - it will prevent you from leveling up as you have to fill up your availible spell slots.
11. Click nothing else but venture forth and wake up with a character screen showing 30s across the board.

Forgive me but I watched the CoSMOS videos and trying to follow your instructions. I'm not sure what I am messing up here but I am not able to narrow my search.

Forgive me but I watched the CoSMOS videos and trying to follow your instructions. I'm not sure what I am messing up here but I am not able to narrow my search.
I think its cus its early access, they do hotfixes and the code is really a mess, at the moment, they are doing there best but i think *and its only my opinion* thay cant give us a 100% untill end of next week till they see all the code 😈 after all the Professor needs to sleep, and there are other games. that need attention, but as long as they *maybe* do the Dice thing then the game will be easy *just my opinion* but I think a Save Game Eddidor is what we need with the stats 🤠
This would really help....I really don't understand how the dice system works, I've set my stats to like 100 with a +45 for persuasion check and I still fail constantly
Unless you have found some way to edit the actual bonuses given, which are seperate from your stats, the max bonus you can get to a skill is +12. That's the maximum +10 bonus from the relevant attribute being at 30 and a +2 bonus if that skill is one of your proficiencies.
That +12 is subtracted from any of the skill checks that are rolled on. So, if you are trying to persuade someone and the base roll you need is 15, your +12 persuasion means you only need to roll a 3. The max you would ever have to roll to pass a check on a +12 skill is 8 (on something that would require a 20 without any bonuses). I get lots of checks that only require a roll of 1 because my bonuses totally outweight the base number, but I do see the occasional 5 and have even run into one 8 so far on a skill I'm proficient in.
