Hello guys,
It works for me after trying a lot of things.
Please do the following:

1. download the latest trainer
2. download the previous trainer
3. take the exe file from the previous trainer which needs to be replaced and follow the usual replace instructions. The EXE file from the current (last uploaded) trainer is faulty or does not work and leads to the problems mentioned above!
4. load the current trainer and run the game.
5. Activate the trainer

It should now work. The errors no longer occurred for me.
As I said, please do not use the exe file from the latest trainer but from the previous one. Then it works.

Maybe you can give me some feedback. Kind regards

I still can't get this trainer to work. Neither the new or previous CH Launcher works. It forces the game to launch in desktop mode even when I select launch in VR. I can play in VR fine with the original launcher, but when I replace it with any of the cheat happens launcher version it launches in desktop mode even if I select launch in VR.

My Index does turn on though, but it only opens up to the home hub.

Hello, I've tried running CH trainer for Star Wars Squadrons which I purchased from Steam (Oct 2023).

As per the instructions I copied across "starwarssquadrons_launcher.exe" file into the game folder to override the Easy Anti Cheat, however since doing so the game does not launch. I have disabled the internet security and tried the game in admin mode with no joy.

The trainer I'm using is Star Wars Squadrons Trainer - 12-13-2021 HF, which was last updated on 3rd Feb 2022.

I have noticed that the original "starwarssquadrons_launcher.exe" file size is 1,098KB and the trainer version is only 80KB, not sure if this information is of any help.

Would appreciate any help getting this running.

have you set the game folder as an exclusion in your anti-virus?

Have any of you all tried to run the game Vanilla without the trainer exe launcher?

Because long before I could even test the trainer myself I failed to even get the game to launch after a clean install.

Then again I am launching on a windows 11 machine and my Origin's Account doesn't recognize me legally owning a steam copy of the game to allow me to launch the game even though it does appear in my Steam library as owned.

So this appears to be an issue for me is due to the Origin's Verification issues.
If there is an issue launching the game likely it has something more to do with Origin's/EA launcher not showing as owning the game thus keeping you from launching the game.

As of right now I am hitting a brick wall due to this issue seeing as how I can't even get my EA account and Steam account to handshake for the past hour, to even test and see if there is any issue at all to be found with the trainer.

Having just run a short test session myself, I can confirm that this trainer is functioning fine for me. It should be noted that I have the game via EA app directly, and not via steam. The steps I took were to load Aurora, search up the game and choose my platform, in this case the EA one.
1. I hit my start button and typed %appdata% and found the EAC (easy anti cheat) folder and cleared it out (deleted all files) BEFORE loading the game.
2. I disabled my internet.
3. I ignored the warnings from the launcher and loaded the game.
4. I waited for the EAC logo to disappear and the game to load into the menu.
5. I deleted any files created in the already open EAC folder that were created during the game loading, and enabled my internet.
6. I loaded into a new character in story mode, activated the trainer and played the entire prologue without any crashing or issues.
While the process may be different for those using steam (you really should know how to start steam in offline mode), it WILL work should the EAC be bypassed correctly. The same process is usually the same for ANY title with EAC, regardless of platform. Just my 2 cents on the issue being reported. Please note that I did not use any "extra" files as per the instructions, as the EAC bypass method above usually works better for me personally.
