I think the newest update broke the trainer for me.

Didn't have any issues running it before today, but something definitely caused it to break.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Hi guys, this game continues to update incessantly, about 2 times a day, mainly to thwart cheaters and folks who are abusing the timed leaderboards. We've had to rewrite the trainer twice now, and it looks like a third rewrite to address the anticheats and code changes would be necessary. Last time it took 5 hours. We dont have that kind of time, and unfortunately people are apparently abusing the trainer online or abusing the leaderboards. This game will likely continue to patch endlessly until the developers give up trying to stop the cheating, or they move to a server based situation. Either way, we are putting the title on hold for now, as it barely gets 100 downloads which doesn't justify the endless updating and time consumption. I've put more time into this trainer than Baldur's Gate 3 trainer which has thousands of downloads and isn't patching 6 times a week. No idea if/when we will take off hold, but for now this game title is ON HOLD.

When trying to edit my gold amount, it just displays "??" and trying to change it reverts it to "??" and the gold amount does not change. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. This worked in the past.

Can't scan the gold value, may be using old data from one of the trainer folders.

Delete trainer and all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again. May also need to run the game without the trainer first and play a bit so the save file gets updated to use possible new values.

There was a big update which released multiplayer and the ptr of the player data seems to have shifted as a result. Requested a update. Don't know if it will be updating as quickly as before now that it is near feature complete.

Is it just me or is there a problem with the trainer? When I download the latest trainer for Spelunky 2. I get instead Wasteland 3? That is, when I open the trainer in administrative mode for Spelunky 2 the trainer opens to Wasteland 3 in it's place? Yes I downloaded the correct file, and no I did not misclicked. Just a heads up, and have a happy holly days.

Confirmed, will be fixed when everyone wakes up 😉
