Yes, I have the GP Version.

GP Version works just fine. However I have no idea if I am making progress in Spartan Ops.

when i click download trainer nothing happens on the trainer manager app (v.2.1.8.0) and on the website it redirects me to the "normal" trainer site. is this the mcc file included in the reach trainer?

On the trainer's page scroll down for the Red button "Other Trainers/Editor Versions"
I believe its number 3 from memory

thank you, i just found it. i have downloaded the reach trainer and it came with halo-reach-steam-launcher and a mcclauncher file. do i have to use this file in tandem with the achievements enabler?

i just tried:
- start up achievement enabler
- start up non-patched halo mcc non eac
- enable achievements
- enbable trainer

- start up achievement enabler
- start up patched halo mcc non eac
- enable achievements
- enable trainer

- start up achievement enabler
- start up patched halo mcc EAC
- enable achievements
- enable trainer

no achievements unlocked on any of those tries

Here's what worked for me (GP version)

- Launch achievements enabler (run as admin)
- Launch trainer (run as admin)
- Launch MCC non-EAC using the shortcut provided with the trainer
- Load the relevant campaign mission
- Pause the game when loaded into the mission
- Enable achievements
- Enable trainer options
- Resume the game

I used this to unlock a few remaining ODST par scores
