So I'm guessing the last update patched out being able to use the custom EXE to get achievements while using the trainers still.

challenges show as unavailable and no achievements pop anymore.

Any chance we might find a new way around this?

They incorporated EAC into the achievements. No EAC, no achievements. If you have EAC running, then you can't use a trainer.

So the CH Trainers will only work with EAC disabled from now on? oof🙁 that's hard

If you want to use the trainer with the STEAM version and get ACHIEVEMENTS,
you need to take the included file:

mcclauncher.exe

and replace the file in the folder here:
C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection
with it.

Make a backup of your original file (mcclauncher.exe)

Then run the game from STEAM normally:

Click PLAY, then select

Play Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

You will get the achievements.

ONLINE PLAY ACHIEVEMENTS will still need to be earned ONLINE and the trainer cannot be used ONLINE,
so make sure to replace with the backup you made when you want to go online.

Because EAC anti cheat is not running and cannot be bypassed, achievements may not fire off unless you are online, and have the anti cheats running.
