Has anyone figured out how to use the enable ironman and enable achievements options now that there is no lock button? Are they just dead options now?

I second this, any guidance would be appreciated.

Ok, I've done some testing using Caliber's instructions. I'm posting this just to save other people some time. The way the current options are implemented, they are only useful if your game is completely unmodded. They will let you use the console in an ironman save and still get the achievements that way.

However, if you are trying to use the options to allow achievements while using some of the mods from the workshop, it won't work. It may briefly say that achievements are available, but if you complete an achievement you will not get credit for it. This is more what I was using the option for, which worked with the locks. If you're trying to use the option to allow achievements with mods, it no longer has that function as far as I can tell.

Can I create a custom ruler over 400 points and then set it to ironman?

After a quick test, looks like you can set it to ironman, but you still will not get any achievements even when using the enable achievements option on the trainer.

Edit: Ok guys after more testing you CAN get the achievements, or at least some of them. I had been playing with the trainer option enabled, custom ruler over 400 points, and mods. I was not getting achievements. However, when I restarted the game with no mods and ran a new game with no custom ruler, at least some of the achievements popped up that I had gotten on the modded game. I don't know if it works for every achievement.
