Been having this problem the last few months with newer trainers (all the old trainers run fine). When any new trainer is run, the attached message pops up. I have all the updated .Net core runtimes, etc. installed, so it's not that. It appears the apps aren't finding some resource it needs. It mentions fonts and widow sizing so it feels like an error with drawing the interface. Any help would be appreciated.

A recent windows update could have corrupted them, try re-installing all three.

Have both latest .NET CORE Link (Both of the Net-Core MUST be installed x86 and x64) and FRAMEWORK Link from Microsoft.

First time I've see this error. I found some reports at Microsoft about this issue. Unfortunately none of them mentions a solution. The log you attached shows this issue is out of scope for me, it happens within .NET runtime.

Have you tried running "sfc scannow", seeing if your Windows fonts are corrupted? Can you check if your system blocks untrusted fonts => Link ?

Really appreciate you guys getting back to me. So far, I've tried all these suggestions (as well as others on the boards) to no avail. I will try the untrusted fonts issue when I have a chance to reboot but the feature wasn't even activated in the services panel. I turned it on and told it to allow untrusted fonts but haven't had a chance to restart yet.

Let me ask this: what font do the trainers use? I wonder, if it's a publicly available font, if i could install it manually, see if that helps. Such a weird error after having no issues for years. I do however do graphic design for a living so it's possible I might have a conflicting version of the font installed. Just a theory anyway.

The trainer uses Google's Roboto but its embedded so you don't have it installed on your computer, this is what I meant with untrusted font source, perhaps the trainer is blocked from using the font. Otherwise .NET WPF uses Segoe UI as fallback which is a Microsoft font and should already be installed on your computer (perhaps this one is corrupted?)

So I figured it out and the font thing was the key! Roboto, being a reasonably popular font these days, I had installed on my system via my font manager, Suitcase Fusion (I'd installed the version found on Google Fonts, FWIW). When you told me what the font you were using was, I went into Suitcase and deactivated all versions and variants of the Roboto font, and lo and behold, it opened right up.

I might be an edge case, but it may be worth noting that the way fonts are implemented in the trainers might conflict with installed fonts on a user's system.

At any rate, thank you guys so much for your help.

Ui, that's an interesting aspect you found there. I'll add it to my notes in case this appears again in the future.
