I replaced the LF.exe with the one from the link in Aurora, but the game won't start. I just get a little window that says...

Steam required

Steam must be running to play this game. the game will now exit.

I have steam opened so something is wrong. It seems there was an update on 11/3/23.

Seems the trainer might need an update if that is the case.
I suggest you file an update request.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

It seems the last update finally added launch options when launching it from steam

Option 1 : Play Night of the dead

Option 2 : Play Night of the dead (No Anti-Cheat, Single-player)

Which means the LF File in the trainer is no longer required

Can confirm, on install and running it, steam will ask you to choose. If you've had it installed for awhile and would like to choose its located in general tab of Night of the Dead steam properties page. There is a drop down box called launch options. Not sure if it affects the trainer. I've tried to activate it but it says failed, however it did just update today as well.

it basically crashes instantly when i hit F1

i did report it as well, however the boosting is not working for it, i click it and nothing happens.

it takes me to the boost page and its grayed out.

That's because we have to many titles boosted currently.
