So Aloy, for some reason, constantly keeps five arrows notched whenever she wants to fire her bow. I thought it was the upgrade that lets you notch more arrows while aiming, but it seems permanent. If I fire she just notches five more automatically. Is one of her passive skills that I overlooked or is something else wrong?
You say, FIVE notched arrows? Should be a game bug.
The passive talent of Aloy allows notching just 3 arrows - one after another - and then shooting all 3.
Is that a NG+save where it happens? If so, I think there is a game bug caused by the already learned talents, somehow interfering with the NG+ states.
I think, that should be reported to guerilla directly.
If it is not an NG+, I don't know why this happens - never happened to me yet and I started NG+ today.

When I played again today the issue seemed resolved. Not sure if one of the trainer options did it or not. It was a normal fresh save also. The notching ability works as normal now.

I've been having the same issue for a while and didn't realise it's actually a bug. She keeps firing 5 arrows and they all just disperse in different directions and I can't figure out what is causing this.

If you search this thread using "arrows" as your search word you'll get a few earlier replies from others who encountered this "bug". Some say it's from using the "Unlimited Arrows" trainer option while others say it's from using the "Easy Gather Items" trainer option. I've never used the "Unlimited Arrows" trainer option but I did use the "Easy Gather Items" trainer option early on and I did get this "bug" with 5 arrows being nocked and fired. Disabling the trainer option doesn't stop the "bug" during that game session, it only goes away when you completely quit the game, exit the trainer and then re-launch both the trainer and game.
As a test, first try running the game without the trainer and see if you still get 5 arrows being nocked. Then try running the game with the trainer but NOT using either of the "Unlimited Arrows" or "Easy Gather Items" options and see if you still get 5 arrows being nocked.
Does "Unlimited Heavy ammo" work for anybody? Tried it with almost every heavy weapon, nothing
Doesn't work for me aswell.
