Amanpia Save Question on Remnant: From the Ashes PC Message Board - Page 1

Hi guys. For the posted Save on here for Remnant that is 100%, is it at the end of the game, or can it be used for a "new game +"? Also, where is save directory located? Thoughts and help appreciated

Possible location of the save file is:
"C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Remnant"

The game is finished but you can re-roll your campaign mode(new game plus I suppose) and choose more harder difficulty to play, not to mention that you can buy from the vendor the "Orb Of Undoing" which resets all your trait points which gives you the opportunity to customize your character as you like. They are a few traits and rings/amulets that becomes useless when you finish the game such as "Elder Knowledge", "Luminescent ", "Sagestone" and "Talisman of Perseverance" since I found all the stuff except some multiplayer traits(there is a read me file inside my save for more details).
Also using my save, when you create a new character you will have all the rewards from Survivor and Hardcore mode which basically gives you an easier leveling,materials and money.

Thanks for the help and info! I have your save in the game, and created a new character. When I started the new Character, my Inventory was empty. How do I get the rewards from Survivor/Hardcore modes? Further help appreciated

Now that is weird .... Unless if you deleted MY character and create a new one it will not work... My character must exist for the rewards to work. If you delete my character you are starting from zero. IF you use the save correctly, you should see my own character correct? there are some + icons in the main menu, which means you can create a lot of new characters.

Hmm, I am not sure what is going on. I completely removed my save (made backup first of course), and then replaced it with yours. I did see your Character and I kept it and created a new Character. Still didn't see rewards when I started new save. Are they supposed to be in Inventory, or an in-game Item Box or something (Like the Resident Evil games)? Further thoughts/help appreciated. 🙂😀

It doesn't make sense, when you create a new character all items appear in front of your screen unless........you don't have the latest version of your game with the latest DLC(Swamp of Corsus). When you touch the Red Crystal, check if there is the option World Settings, enter there and check if you have the "Adventure Mode" and Survival Mode. If you don't, then you don't have the DLC.

Also load my character and check in his inventory the following items:

Items from Survival Mode:
Adventurer Goggles(Armor), Hero's Sword(Weapon), Loop of Prosperity(Ring), Talisman of Perseverance(Amulet), Daredevil's Charm(Amulet), Black Rose(Amulet).

Items from Hardcore Mode:

Nightmare Spiral(Amulet), Provisioner Ring(Ring), Akari War Band(Ring), Ring of Supremacy(Ring), Empowering Loop(Ring), Band of Accord(Ring).

Some items from Adventure Mode(DLC items):
Carapace Set(Armor) and Labyrinth Set (Armor)

Hmm, this is strange indeed. I do have the Swamp DLC installed; and also Steam says that I have 44 of 45 Achievements unlocked.
